The Valley Pool squad program consists of 4 distinct level of instruction, arranged according to the swimmers abilities.  Squad levels range from junior development where swimmers learn the basic fundamentals of four strokes right through to World championship competition.

The Valley Pool is also home to the Commercial Swimming Club.  The Commercial Swimming Club supports squad swimmers in local, state and national swim competitions and is affiliated with Swimming Queensland and Swimming Australia
